Objective:
Do you know what an ambassador does?
By definition, an ambassador could be either a) an accredited diplomat sent by a country as its official representative to another foreign country; or b) a person who acts as a representative or promoter of a specified activity.
When you are a Sixtyone ambassador you’re kind of both.
This is culture week. It is the week we focus on how people like us do things like this. Sixtyone has accredited diplomats. Everyone can’t be Sixtyone. You have to put in the work. You have to learn how to do it. It’s not easy. That’s what accredited means. When you are complete and independent young golfer, you become accredited Sixtyone diplomats.
That takes time. So, while you’re working on being accredited (moving from white hat to khaki hat, etc.) you are acting as representatives or promoters. You represent Sixtyone every time you show someone how people like us do things like this. You represent Sixtyone every time you show someone how you do the right thing whether people are watching or not. You represent Sixtyone every time you show someone how to separate the purpose from the goal at the golf course or at school or anywhere. You are representing all of us.
You are helping to change the way people think about golf. And, that’s pretty cool.
