How do you choose your habits?

We are what we repeatedly do.

Self-awareness week is a time for us to reflect on our habits. As Sixtyone golfers, we agree with F.M. Alexander. We do not decide our futures. We decide our habits. Our habits, the things we repeatedly do, decide our futures.

At Sixtyone, we don’t do a lot of things, but what we do, we do well.

We do the difficult things when they are easy and the great big things when they are small. We try to get a little better every day and keep the purpose and goal separate. We play golf from the hole back and understand that the short shots are just as important as the long shots. (Some say they are more important.)

We do these things over and over. Rinse and repeat. Self-awareness. Strategy. Culture. Fun.

Self-awareness. Strategy. Culture. Fun.

Self-awareness. Strategy. Culture. Fun.

We do this over and over until it becomes habit.

Big question/s

  1. What are some habits you have developed that help you succeed?
  2. What are some habits you are working?
  3. What are some habits holding you back from success?

At Sixtyone, we believe that you should play golf wherever you can, whenever you can and however you can. You’ll feel better. We promise. Hit us up if you want to find out what we mean.

Change. Think. Golf.
