It is 2024 and we get to start all over again. But we are not talking resolutions. Superman is only in comics. There are no giant leaps to success. Sixtyone members realize that resolutions are a not effective. Researchers suggest that only 9% of people who make resolutions complete them. And, in fact, 23% of people quit their resolution by the end of the first week, and 43% quit by the end of January. Being Sixtyone is not about resolutions.
But, turning the page and starting a new year allows us to put more effort into focusing on our themes. The first week is self-awareness. We get to reflect on what we know and what we are doing to know more. So, as we start a new year ask yourself a few questions.
How much do you know about golf?
What is your objective?
Who are the best female and male golfers in the world?
Which country produces the best golfers and why?
Which golf course in the U.S. is the hardest to play?
How do the rate how hard a course is to play?
Who, in your opinion, has the best golf swing on the LPGA Tour?
What course would you like to play the most?
Remember, golf can not be taught; it must be learned. How much do you want to learn? What are you going to do to learn it? You do not have to be Superwoman or Superman to be a Sixtyone golfer. You just have to work to be your best… and then be better today than you were yesterday.
Change. Think. Golf.
