Many people who try to play golf make the same simple mistake. They do not have a plan. They do not have a firm and fixed intention for playing. Sure, they want to play and enjoy their time at the golf course. But golf is not like other sports. Golf is hard. Finding the fun at the course is sometimes difficult. Golf requires determination.
At Sixtyone, we do not do a lot of things, but what we do we do well. One of the first things we do is to set our intentions. We start every day with a firm and fixed intention to enjoy ourselves, to have fun. That is important because hitting our goal and being our best is not always easy. You have to be willing to work to be your best. You have to be determined to try and try and try again to get better. You have to learn to do simple things well.
Celebrate small progress.
Keep going.
Be determined.
