In sports, invitational means “limited to invited participants.” Invitational Education is “an imaginative act of hope that explains how human potential can be realized.” This is a little of both in order to continue to change the way people think about golf.

Change.

Think.

Golf.

FAQS

What is a Par Tee?

Sixtyone, as often as possible, helps reach out from the course to bring golfers and non-golfers together. The Par Tee is an example of that, with the Three Clubs and the Los Angeles Golf Club adding their own unique influences to create a positive, non-traditional golf environment. So if you don’t play golf, the Par Tee is a perfect way to learn more about the game, and why so many people love it. If you do play golf, it is a chance for you to share your passion for golf with someone new. Either way, whether you play golf or not, we want you to come join us at the Three Clubs, Hollywood in the spirit of golf.

Where is the Three Clubs Cocktail Lounge?

The host for the evening, The Three Clubs Cocktail Lounge, sits at the corner of Santa Monica Blvd. and Vine St., only a few blocks from the Wilshire Country Club, the site of the LPGA’s JM Eagle LA Championship. The Three has been a Hollywood icon for over 30 years, and, as a member of the Sixtyone Country Club network, supports the Change. Think. Golf. philosophy.

What is the Change. Think. Golf. philosophy?

Change your perspective. Think about what you can do. And, golf. Play golf wherever you can, whenever you can and however you can.

What is the agenda?

This is Hollywood. The Three is a cocktail lounge. We will be cocktail lounging. We will also be discussing what’s going on in the game today, and how we can continue to change the way people think about golf.

And, there will be festivities!

What festivities?

First and foremost, the Los Angeles Golf Club’s Dryvebox. The Dryvebox is a mobile golf simulator that is designed to bring golf anywhere. You can check it out herehere and here to see what we mean. The Los Angeles Golf Club, a member of the newly formed Tomorrow Golf League, also embraces the Change. Think. Golf. philosophy. Their Dryvebox will add a special kind of fun to our cocktail lounging. And, come ready. There will be competitions and prizes and things. Also, remember, this is a Sixtyone thing. Golfers and non-golfers will have an equal chance to win!

Where is the Sixtyone Country Club?

Sixtyone Country Club established 2012 logo

The Sixtyone Country Club is not a physical location. It is a way of thinking. Sixtyone members all share the same vision. The goal is to change the way people think about golf. Sixtyone members share time, treasure and expertise to connect more people with the positive aspects of playing golf. And, Sixtyone particularly focuses on young people with limited access to the golf course.

Am I Sixtyone?

You might already be a member and not know it. Come to the Three Clubs on April 25th and find out.
