OBJECTIVE:
This week is about fun and enjoyment. So we’re having a club exchange party at the golf course.
But we’re still working on being complete and independent golfers. So if you come to the event, here are some challenges for you so you don’t end up like this kid.
ACTIVITIES:
- This is a great chance for you to show what you know. Be examples to other students (and adults). Be Sixtyone and show them how people like us do things like this.
- Show others how we practice. Play Sevens, the Ladder Game, and Tic-tac-toe with others.
- Show people how we start small with short shots on the chipping green and on the range.
- Be leaders. Make sure everyone walks behind the tree and follows rule #1 and #2 of golf safety.
- Help keep the area clean. Rake the balls on the chipping area. Rake the sand trap. Pick up range baskets and trash.
- Make new friends.
BIG QUESTIONS:
- Did you help change the way someone thinks about golf today?
- Did you have fun?
- Did you help someone else have fun, and learn to separate the purpose from the goal.
