“Drive for show. Putt for dough.”
Putting is the game within the game.
Putting the golf ball is using a club called a “putter” to roll the ball into the hole. It is the final stoke taken to complete a golf hole.
For Sixtyone golfers, this is where our practice normally begins. We play golf from the hole backwards.
One of the greatest things about golf is that the most important strokes, the short game, can be practiced basically anywhere.
You only need a few feet, a putter, ball, and a target.
The more time you spend putting, the better sense of “feel” you will develop.
