What is a Sixtyone Fairway Picnic?

We are inviting you to a picnic at the golf course. It’s really that simple. Special guests for this picnic are the 2021-22 SBCUSD CAPS Golf students. This is their party. 

Where is it?

We’re going to be at Shandin Hills GC | 3380 Little Mountain Dr, San Bernardino, CA. (Click here to see the map)

How does it work?

Use the form above to RSVP and we will contact you with more details. Here are the basics:

3:00 p.m.

ICTM Meet up

Sixtyone’s ICTM (Instructors, Caddies, Tutors, and Monitors) network will have a short, 30-minute meet up before the picnic starts. We’re going to talk a bit about our plans for the summer. If you want to learn how you can help Sixtyone change golf, you should come early and join us.

3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Picnic festivities

If you don’t play golf, try it. If you do play golf, help someone give it a go. Whatever you do, have fun. Eat some food. Hit some golf balls. Play some games. Enjoy the fresh air. Meet new friends. Reconnect with old ones. Just make sure you and everyone around you has a good time. 

6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Breakdown and clean up

At Sixtyone, we always leave the course better than we find it. Pick up some trash. Help put away some gear. Do anything you can to make sure the course looks better than when we started.

What should I bring?

This is a Sixtyone Country Club event that brings golfers and non-golfers together in a relaxed atmosphere. At Sixtyone, everybody plays. Everybody gets involved. Everybody has fun. That’s the whole point.

So, bring your clubs if you have them. If you don’t, that’s okay. We have some you can use. Bring a side dish. Take a look here so you can see what others are bringing. Or, just bring a couple bucks. Drop a dollar or two in the hat andyou can eat burgers and hot dogs until we run out.

Also, this is a picnic so bring a blanket, sunscreen, a hat, and something to drink (bring a lot to drink if it’s hot!). Last, bring some fun and be ready to share it.
