Golf Talk ’21: August 11

Back to school time means time for us to get back to work. Let's remember to focus on safety, strategy, culture, and having fun.

TOPICS & GOALS

  1. How is the new school year going so far. What challenges have you faced?
  2. Have you been to the course over the past two weeks? If not, why?
  3. What is the overall perspective on the COVID-19 situation? What do you think about in-person schooling? What do you think about possible exposure at the golf course?
  4. We’ve been invited to participate in the LA84 Play Day. This is important for a number of reasons. Do you think you can attend? It will help the program moving forward?
  5. The goal is to challenge your child to be a complete and independent golfer. The program will give them the responsibility for their own development. Also, the will be given the opportunity to lead others.
  6. What are your thoughts on the best way to move the on-campus program forward:
    • Online sessions are here to stay. Does your child participate?
    • Does your child attend CAPS afterschool?
    • Will you be able to get your child to the golf course during the week?
    • Would you let your child be shuttled to the golf course?
    • Are you willing to participate in a car pooling with other parents?
